Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time
Location: Savannah, GA
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week
Setting: Onsite

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions within partnering school districts in the Savannah, Georgia area. We are seeking professionals who are passionate about improving students’ communication skills and making a lasting impact in school-based settings.
  
Details: 

  • Location: Savannah, GA
  • Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
  • Caseload: K-12, SLP conducting testing and evaluations. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience, including age group.

Applicants must meet all Georgia state and local school district requirements, including:
  • A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • Active Georgia state licensure through the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Hold or be eligible for a Clear Renewable Teaching Certificate in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC), if working in a public school.
  • Completion of all required background checks and fingerprinting in accordance with Georgia state and school district policy.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred; CFY candidates may be considered

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
  • Provide therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and social communication.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development activities.
