Grades 6 - 8 Grades K - 5 Speech Pathology - Little Falls, MN
This opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving students in grades K-12 across multiple settings. The position is based in Little Falls, MN, and is a contract role for the current school year (CSY). You will split your time equally between a specialized setting IV and a member district, each requiring a half-time SLP commitment.
Ideal candidates will have experience programming and implementing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices for non-verbal students. Proficiency in Medicaid billing and petition processes for device funding is essential to support student needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Program and maintain AAC devices to enhance communication for non-verbal students.
- Manage Medicaid billing and file petitions for funding AAC devices when necessary.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
- Document therapy progress and maintain accurate records.
