A rewarding opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide on-site support in several schools located in the Bradenton, FL area. These positions offer both full-time and part-time contracts, serving diverse early childhood and elementary student populations with varying speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, treatment, and progress monitoring for students in preschool and elementary settings, including those in ASD classrooms, ESE PK, and integrated programs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized goals and interventions.
- Manage caseloads independently, adapting therapies to meet each student’s unique communication needs.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state licensing and school district policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License required.
- Master’s degree preferred; candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and appropriate licensure may be considered.
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome; SLP Assistants (SLPAs) are not being considered at this time.
- Experience working in educational settings, particularly with early childhood special education and autism spectrum disorder is advantageous.
Assignment Details:
- Locations include Ballard Elementary (potential for 4 days/week), Sea Breeze Elementary, Harvey Elementary, and Abel Elementary.
- Assignments vary from full-time (3 positions) to part-time (1 position).
- Contracts extend through May 29, 2026; candidates at Abel Elementary have a start date in March.
- Positions require on-site presence to support student needs directly within the schools.
