Speech Language Pathologist in Saint Petersburg, FL
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school serving a diverse student population. The school is located in Bradenton, FL, within the School District of Manatee County, and is a Title 1 school with a small caseload of approximately 40-50 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students, including those in an Autism unit, Exceptional Student Education pre-kindergarten (EPK), and integrated pre-kindergarten classrooms.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and comply with all district and state regulations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Florida SLP license is required; candidates who are Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with children in school settings, preferably with knowledge of serving students with autism and special education needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
