The school has a small caseload of approximately 40-50 students and includes specialized programs such as an Autism unit, Exceptional Student Education Pre-K, and Integrated Pre-K classrooms designed for students with IEPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students with diverse needs
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other service providers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conducting assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Supporting communication development in a classroom setting, including specialized units for Autism and Exceptional Student Education

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Florida SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates are not being considered for this role
  • Recent graduates completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply
  • Experience working with children in school settings preferred, especially with diverse learner populations
