School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Sarasota, FL

Compensation Packages
Local Candidates (Sarasota area)

Pay Range: $40 – $46 per hour

Consistent, school-based schedule

Weekly pay via direct deposit
Travel Candidates (open to relocation)

Equivalent Pay Range: $47 – $56 per hour

Weekly Take-Home: approximately $1,417 – $1,642

Pay structure includes a reduced taxable hourly wage plus tax-free housing and meal stipends

Job Duties
-
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students
-
Evaluate and diagnose speech and communication disorders
-
Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school staff
-
Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation

Ensure compliance with IDEA and district guidelines
-
Work closely with educators and families to support student outcomes
Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Active Florida SLP license or eligibility before the start date
-
CCC from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates considered
-
Knowledge of IEP development and compliance standards

Ability to pass background check and school district onboarding
