Comprehensive Bilingual Service Delivery
- Elementary through high school speech-language services for ELL students
- Autism spectrum and developmental communication support across cultures
- Articulation and phonological therapy in native languages
- Language development intervention for bilingual learners
- Students with communication disorders, hearing impairments, and complex needs from diverse backgrounds
Core Professional Duties
- Administer speech-language evaluations using bilingual assessment protocols
- Develop culturally appropriate therapy plans and goals
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions in Spanish and English
- Collaborate with bilingual multidisciplinary teams
- Support communication needs within RTI/MTSS frameworks
- Maintain detailed bilingual documentation and compliance
- Conduct family training and consultation in preferred languages
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification
- Active New Mexico speech-language pathologist license
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English
- 2+ years of school SLP experience with Hispanic/Latino populations
- Training in bilingual/multicultural assessment and intervention
- Understanding of dialectal variations in Spanish
- Proficiency with digital bilingual therapy platforms
