Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Santa Clarita, California. The ideal candidate will have expertise in providing speech and language services within a school setting, developing individualized education programs (IEPs), and working collaboratively with educators and families to support students' communication needs. This role requires dedication to improving students' speech, language, and social communication skills, ensuring their success in the classroom and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience in providing speech-language services in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
