Caseload: Preschool (evaluations and therapy) and Elementary (therapy)
ProCare Therapy is looking for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to fill a temporary contract position in a California school district. This role is an excellent fit for an SLP who is comfortable working with young learners, has strong assessment skills, and can manage a schedule across two nearby school campuses.
This is a 40-hour/week position requiring full-time, on-site availability. You'll work directly with preschool students for evaluations and treatment, and provide therapy services to students at one elementary site. The district offers a supportive environment, clear expectations, and the opportunity for possible contract extension.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments for preschool students

Deliver direct therapy to preschool and elementary caseloads

Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families

Develop and maintain IEP documentation and service logs

Participate in team meetings and IEP discussions

Coordinate services between two school locations
Qualifications:
-
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Valid California SLP License (SLP-CCC preferred; CFs may be considered)

Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a split-site caseload

Solid understanding of IEP compliance and special education documentation

Reliable, communicative, and able to work independently
