Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to middle school students, addressing a variety of communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school district policies.
- Manage caseloads effectively, potentially traveling between assigned schools in part-time positions.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida State License for Speech Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) through ASHA.
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field.
- Experience with school-aged children, ideally grades 6-8.
- Flexibility to work in either full-time or part-time schedules and possibly across multiple schools.
