Provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting in Sanford, FL. This contract role requires a fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work itinerantly across schools throughout the county, supporting a caseload of approximately 40 active students through direct intervention and consultation. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered, with a start date as soon as possible through the end of the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students across multiple schools
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports in compliance with district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications:
- Current, valid professional licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) in speech-language pathology services
- Proven ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students with diverse communication needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with school personnel and families
- Ability to provide itinerant services across multiple school sites
