This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity supports K-12 students across multiple private and public school locations in the Apopka, FL area. The position is a contract role beginning ASAP through May 27, 2026, with an itinerant schedule covering various campuses including private institutions and public schools near Oviedo and Sanford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related field.
- Valid Florida State License for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from ASHA required.
- Experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage an itinerant caseload across multiple campuses.
- Note: Positions for Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) will not be considered at this time.
Location:
- Itinerant services across Seminole County Public Schools and private schools in the Apopka vicinity, including Oviedo, Sanford, Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic School, The Master’s Academy, and others.
