Role Summary
As a Speech Language Pathologist in Sanford, FL, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students. You will collaborate with IEP teams, educators, and families to support student achievement in academic and social settings.
Responsibilities
• Conduct speech and language evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain documentation
Requirements (Florida)
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Valid Florida SLP license or certification
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
• School-based experience preferred
Employment Options
Local Contract
• Full-time, on-site in Sanford, FL
• Hourly rate: $44–$49/hour
Travel Contract
• Full-time, on-site in Sanford, FL
• Weekly take-home pay based on experience
