Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students presenting with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Facilitate targeted therapy sessions that promote speech and language improvement
- Accurately track and document student progress and outcomes
- Work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and school staff as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Communicate regularly with families to involve them in the therapy process and provide guidance
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in the respective state
- Ability to meet or obtain all educational and licensure requirements to practice as an SLP
