Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | San Tan Valley, Arizona
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a leave contract position in San Tan Valley, AZ, supporting two elementary schools. This role involves working 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:10 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., beginning July 16, 2025, through May 21, 2026.
Responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload of students with a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, fluency, autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. The SLP will provide direct therapy services, collaborate with educators and families, and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) within a supportive team environment.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Valid Arizona state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
- Ability to address multiple disabilities, including speech articulation, fluency disorders, and developmental conditions such as autism and cerebral palsy
- Teletherapy experience is a plus
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred
