This opportunity is designed for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ready to impact the lives of students within a K-12 educational environment in San Miguel, CA. Offering a Contract-to-Hire position for the academic year, this role centers around providing specialized speech and language services to school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for children presenting speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Provide targeted therapy sessions addressing specific speech and language goals.
- Maintain detailed records documenting student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, healthcare providers, and other team members to ensure cohesive care.
- Educate and involve families in the therapeutic process to support student development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology.
