Requirements and Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license from the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA)
- Active CA Pupil Personnel Services credential in SLP Services
- Preferred: Fluency in additional languages to best support a diverse student population
- Strong clinical, assessment, and case management skills in school settings
- Commitment to on-site service delivery (remote work is not available for this role)
- Open to travel professionals seeking new experiences
- Willingness to support students ranging from early childhood through transition age
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, psychologists, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain precise documentation and follow district-mandated protocols
- Participate in team meetings, provide consultative support, and communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary staff
- Mentor and support Clinical Fellows, fostering professional growth within the school environment
