A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a contract position in Sunnyvale, CA, serving K-12 students. This role involves working onsite across multiple school sites with a caseload that includes preschool through 8th grade students presenting moderate to severe and extensive communication needs. The contract runs from ASAP through the end of the current school year, with 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to create and implement effective treatment plans
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and monitor progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license (CA Licensed SLP) required
- Experience working in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with serving students with moderate to severe communicative needs
- Strong clinical skills and ability to manage caseload independently
