Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Fremont, California
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving an elementary school with two classrooms in Sunnyvale, CA. This contract role is ideal for a licensed California SLP ready to provide both in-person and teletherapy services to a pediatric caseload within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students, supporting communication development and academic success
- Manage an elementary caseload with services tailored to student needs, collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff
- Provide teletherapy services when applicable, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license (CA SLP License) required
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with caseload management in educational environments
- Ability to provide teletherapy services effectively
- Comprehensive understanding of speech therapy interventions and best practices for elementary-aged children
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not mandatory
Location:
- Sunnyvale, California
- Assignment at one elementary school supporting two classrooms
- Work hours: Full time, approximately 40 hours per week
