In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with school teams to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, and cognitive-communication disorders. You’ll have access to resources and support while managing a caseload (to be determined) of diverse students requiring your expertise across the academic year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Maintain active Arizona SLP License
- Possess a valid Arizona Educator Certificate
- Present an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Previous experience in a school setting with PreK-8th grade students preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and interventions for students
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and write assessment reports
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
