Travel SLP in San Jose, CA
A travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in San Jose, CA. This role supports students from TK through 12th grade and requires onsite work at a single school site. The assignment runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week over five days.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to TK-12 students in a school setting
- Collaborate closely with three district Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and the SLP lead to ensure effective service delivery
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Participate in meetings and coordinate services with educational staff and parents
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience working with TK-12 student populations
- Ability to work onsite full-time and maintain collaborative relationships with team members
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of school-based speech and language therapy protocols and procedures
