School Based Speech Language Pathologist needed in San Jose, CA

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the San Jose, CA area. The SLP will work within a school setting to support students with communication disorders, helping them achieve academic and social success. This role involves collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Utilize evidence-based practices and adapt interventions to meet individual student needs
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
