San Jose, CA
Sunbelt Staffing Schools - SLP Contract Today Apply

Step into a dynamic opportunity supporting students through expert speech and language services in a thriving Northern California school community. This contract position is designed for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in diverse, fast-paced educational environments and is passionate about making an immediate positive impact.

In this unique role, you’ll work at two elementary campuses, providing crucial support where student needs are highest. Your week will consist of being present at one site per day, contributing to both general education and special education/preschool caseloads, and assisting with assessments to address overflow. Rather than acting as the primary SLP at any single campus, you’ll offer valuable backup to help balance caseloads, ensuring every student receives the timely and effective services they deserve.

Requirements and Preferred Background:

  • Active SLP-CCC certification and California credentials strongly preferred
  • Experience in school-based settings (elementary, general education, and/or preschool populations)
  • Comfortable collaborating with multiple teams and adapting to changing assignments
  • Strong assessment and documentation skills to support flexible caseloads
  • Excellent communication skills with educators, students, and families
  • Must be available for on-site services only (no virtual work)
  • State licensure not required but highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to diverse student groups as assigned
  • Administer and document assessments to support campus needs
  • Support IEP goal implementation in both general and special education contexts
  • Adapt to varying school environments—one site per day
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district requirements

What’s Offered:

  • Contract assignment with a full-time Monday through Friday schedule, 8am-3pm
  • Opportunity to make meaningful contributions in supportive, collaborative schools
  • Start date of September 25, 2026, with assignment ongoing until permanent hire

If you’re ready to bring your expertise to a dedicated educational team and help students achieve their communication goals, apply today to learn more about this valued position!

Compensation for this position ranges from $45.00 to $95.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
