Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential for Language, Speech & Hearing, or a California credential for Language/Speech and Hearing Specialist
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Must be available to work onsite exclusively (remote/virtual options are not available)
Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students of varying ages
- Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) centered on students’ unique needs and goals
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student progress
- Documenting all assessments, interventions, and progress reports in compliance with school and state standards
- Providing training or consultation to staff and parents as needed
