A full-time, full school year position is available for a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist specializing in serving K-12 students. This contract role is located in Sunnyvale, CA, providing support across the academic year to a diverse student population.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Proven experience working as an SLP in school settings, preferably with K-12 caseloads
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to effectively assess and treat students in both languages
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders common in school-aged children
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and collaborative team approaches within educational environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Deliver direct therapy to students with a range of communication challenges, monitoring progress and adapting strategies as required
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication goals and promote inclusive learning
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights toward student educational planning
