Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting
Location: San Jose, CA
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday
Caseload: Kindergarten to 12th Grade
Employment Type: W-2 Contract Position
Hourly Pay: $50 to $65, based on experience

Support Student Growth Through Speech and Language

ProCare Therapy is excited to hire a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join a progressive school district in San Jose, CA. This full-time role offers the chance to serve a full K–12 caseload, providing diverse opportunities to work with students across a broad age range and varying communication needs.

We are searching for dedicated professionals who are enthusiastic about helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally through evidence-based speech-language therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

  • Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Deliver speech therapy in one-on-one and group settings

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to foster effective communication

  • Monitor student progress and keep detailed records as per school and state regulations

  • Take part in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

  • Active California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)

  • School-based experience is preferred but not mandatory

  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply; strong mentorship provided
