Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based

Position Overview:
A well-supported public school district in San Jose, CA is actively seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025–2026 school year. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations

Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals based on students’ unique communication needs

Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders

Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support classroom integration and carryover of skills

Document services and student progress in accordance with district guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team planning, and staff consultations
-
Support students in general education and special education settings
Position Details:

Caseload: Varies based on experience and preference (elementary and/or middle school options available)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 35–37.5 hours/week

Setting: On-site, with support from a team of SLPs and district leadership

Supervision: Available for Clinical Fellows (CFs); strong mentorship program in place
Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Valid California SLP License or California Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing
-
ASHA CCCs preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
-
School-based experience preferred, but not required
-
Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
