An exciting opportunity is available for licensed Speech Language Pathologists to serve students across a diverse and dynamic school district in San Francisco, CA. This role offers an immersive on-site experience working with a wide range of students from early childhood through transition-aged populations. The position is ideally suited for both seasoned professionals and Clinical Fellows seeking valuable supervised practice.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) in California.
- Clear or Professional Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC); Educator Credential preferred but not mandatory.
- Clinical Fellows are welcome, provided supervision requirements are met.
- Fluency in additional languages is highly desirable and will be given preference.
- Experience working with school-age children across various developmental stages, including early childhood (EC) through transition.
- Ability to work full-time onsite during the academic school year.
Location: San Francisco, California — providing direct, in-person services within schools throughout the district.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services aligned with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and district guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district policies.
- Provide clinical supervision to Clinical Fellows as required.
- Adapt services to meet a culturally and linguistically diverse student population.
