Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active California SLP license
- Previous experience working within a school setting preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students—K-12—identifying areas of need
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with other professionals and families
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions to help students improve their speech, language, and communication abilities
- Monitor, document, and communicate student progress using school-approved systems
- Collaborate actively with teachers, special education staff, and administrators
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
