Join a San Francisco-based elementary educational setting as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) committed to supporting students from preschool through 5th grade. Assignment Details:
- Duration: Immediate start through June 13, 2026, with Extended School Year services from June 22, 2026, to July 22, 2026
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Caseload: Approximately 25-30 students, ages preschool to 5th grade
- Locations: Two elementary school buildings in San Francisco
- Role Type: Contract, full academic school year with additional summer assignment
- Teletherapy: Not considered for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate support services into classroom and school activities
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions to optimize outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development to ensure comprehensive educational support
- Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards specific to school-based speech therapy
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in a school setting with elementary-aged students
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in early childhood
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration with staff and families
