Pediatric Speech Pathology - Alameda, CA

A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for an elementary school located in Alameda, CA for a full school year contract. This is a part-time position (.5 FTE) working in person, providing essential speech and language support to students.
Key qualifications and desired credentials include:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working in schools, healthcare, pediatrics, or teletherapy settings preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is a plus
- Ability to deliver effective speech therapy services in a school environment
- Preference for candidates who are licensed SLPs; while Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not preferred, supervision may be provided if necessary
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and healthcare regulations
- Participate in meetings related to student progress and intervention planning
