Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist – Full-Time, School-Based (1099 Contractor)
Location: Fully Remote | Serving California Schools
Are you a dedicated, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in California seeking an opportunity to make a real impact? We are looking for a dynamic, independent contractor to provide high-quality teletherapy services to K-12 students across the state of California. This full-time, school-based role offers flexibility, allowing you to deliver meaningful support from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized teletherapy sessions to students with diverse speech and language needs, ranging from articulation disorders to language impairments
- Complete assessments, evaluations, and therapy documentation, ensuring compliance with school district standards
- Actively engage in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations for student progress
- Collaborate remotely with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
- Stay organized and maintain accurate records in line with IEP goals, treatment plans, and session notes
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Current, valid California SLP license
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required
- 2 years previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and a strong understanding of remote learning tools
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
