An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services in a K-12 school setting located in Hesperia, CA. This full-time, contract position is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the current school year. The role requires delivering specialized speech therapy to students across all grade levels within a caseload of approximately 50-55 students. This position offers a dynamic environment working with students who have a range of disabilities including autism, intellectual disabilities, and specific learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to K-12 students in a school setting.
- Manage a caseload of 50-55 students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with educational and clinical staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings.
- Ensure therapy services are delivered according to district guidelines and state licensure requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- CTC clearance and complete fingerprinting as required.
- Experience working in a K-12 educational environment is preferred.
- Ability to work full time, approximately 7.25 hours per day, not exceeding 40 hours weekly.

- The district uses a caseload model.
- Training on the district’s IEP system is provided.
- Supervision is supported as needed.
- Administrative support and dedicated therapy space are available.
