Speech-Language Pathologist in Victorville, CA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide services to K-12 students with disabilities including autism, intellectual, and specific learning disabilities. This position is based in an in-person setting within public schools in the Hesperia area near Victorville, CA, serving students under the Desert Mountain SELPA district in Needles, CA. The assignment is a contract role through the current school year, starting as soon as possible and ending at the school year’s conclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels.
- Manage a caseload of 50-55 students.
- Utilize the district’s IEP system with training provided.
- Document therapy progress and participate in paid team meetings and administrative time.
- Work a full-time schedule, approximately 7.25 hours per day (36.25 to 40 hours per week).
- Provide itinerant services, traveling to assigned school locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- ASHA certification.
- CTC clearance.
- Experience providing therapy to children with a range of disabilities in a school setting.
- Ability to manage a substantial caseload and collaborate with educational teams.
- Willingness to comply with district fingerprinting and credentialing requirements.
