A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a part-time, itinerant position serving two middle schools in San Antonio, TX. This maternity leave role will support approximately 100 students in grades 6-8, providing speech and language services across both campuses.
Location: San Antonio, TX (serving two schools)
Assignment Dates: March 31, 2026 through May 29, 2026
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week (part-time)
Caseload: Middle school students, grades 6-8
Schools: Itinerant between two campuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in grades 6-8
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation according to professional standards
- Support students' communication skills to enhance academic and social success
- Comply with all school district policies and state licensing requirements
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) with a valid professional license
- Ability to travel between two middle schools within San Antonio
- Experience working with middle school students preferred
- Clear background check and fingerprinting compliance
- Flexible and proactive approach to working in an itinerant role
