A K-12 school located in Helotes, TX, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the current school year. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Texas SLP license and have experience working with school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support to students across grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of services provided
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist required
- Experience working with school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
