Join a Dallas–Fort Worth elementary school that truly values its SLPs! This full-time hybrid opportunity (37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday) runs immediately through May 22, 2026 and is based at one elementary school conveniently located off I-30. This role allows 1–2 days per week to complete indirect services from home, with remaining days on-site providing direct student services.

You’ll experience an exceptional support system, including an assigned mentor, on-site provider support, a principal with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a speech background, and highly involved district leadership. The district offers a fast-moving interview process for experienced Speech Language Pathologists.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

  • Active Texas Speech Language Pathologist license required

  • Not accepting Clinical Fellows (CF)

  • Not accepting Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs)

  • Experience working with elementary-aged students

  • Strong assessment and intervention skills

  • Knowledge of school-based SLP practices

  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Commitment to full-time employment (37.5 hours per week)

  • Availability for immediate start through May 22, 2026


Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students at one assigned school

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with school teams

  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs

  • Collaborate with assigned mentor and on-site provider support

  • Work closely with school administration and district leadership

  • Provide consultation to teachers and families

  • Maintain documentation, compliance records, and progress monitoring

  • Complete indirect services remotely 1–2 days per week
