SLP in High Point, NC
An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized speech-language services in a K-12 school setting located in High Point, NC. This contract position spans the current school year, with a start date as soon as possible through January 31, 2026. The role requires onsite presence Monday through Friday, averaging 25-30 hours per week, supporting a caseload of approximately 40-45 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy addressing articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders to students with special communication needs.
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct screenings, testing, and diagnostic assessments, providing recommendations for appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including Medicaid billing profiles and therapy notes using designated software systems such as ECATS and Infinite Campus.
- Coordinate services across multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless therapeutic support.
- Promote continual professional growth and uphold ethical standards.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active NC licensure as an SLP with confirmation of licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience working with ECATS software is required.
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes and compliance.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload.
- Ability to supervise speech-language assistants and clinical fellows as needed.
Location: High Point, North Carolina
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 25-30 hours/week
Duration: Contract through January 31, 2026, with an immediate start
