Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Salinas, CA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year, serving K-12 students in an elementary setting. The role focuses on providing individualized speech and language therapy to students with multiple handicapping conditions, supporting their communication development and academic success.
Location: Salinas, CA
Duration: Contract through 6/4/2026
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Setting: Onsite in a K-12 public school environment

Responsibilities include:
- Planning, organizing, and implementing intensive speech and language intervention programs tailored to individual student needs
- Conducting thorough speech and language evaluations and maintaining detailed clinical records and progress notes
- Collaborating with instructional staff and parents by communicating therapy progress and recommendations
- Addressing diverse speech-language challenges in students to facilitate improved communication skills
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC or CFY status acceptable)
- Educator credential for school-based practice
- Experience working within educational settings, especially with elementary-aged students
- Strong organizational and communication skills related to clinical documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration
