Overview
ProCare Therapy is seeking a motivated and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Monterey, California. This full-time role guarantees 37.5 hours per week and starts immediately, continuing through June 6, 2026, with options available for shorter-term contracts for candidates who prefer flexibility.
This position welcomes both certified clinicians with the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) requiring supervision. Responsibilities

Perform detailed speech and language assessments

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs

Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups

Track and document student progress using data-driven methods

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team planning

Maintain compliance with all district and state documentation requirements

Educate families and staff on communication strategies to support student progress
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

Valid or pending California SLP license

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required

Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome with full supervision provided

Experience working in school settings is a plus
