We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school that serves students with intellectual disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors. This is a unique opportunity to provide therapy in a supportive environment focused on functional skills and communication.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide speech-language services to a caseload of up to 60 students aged 5 to 21

Most therapy is delivered in group sessions within one school site
-
Support students who primarily use low-tech or high-tech communication devices
-
Help students develop essential functional skills
-
Deliver therapy on-site, 8 hours per day, 5 days a week

Position starts ASAP and runs through May 31, 2026
What You’ll Bring:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Relevant state licensure (please specify your location)

Experience or interest in working with students with intellectual disabilities, autism, and behavioral challenges

Ability to work with students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
-
Strong collaboration skills
-
Willingness to work in a specialized setting focused on functional outcomes
Additional Information:

The school is open to considering Clinical Fellows or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), but will require contracting with a qualified supervisor for support
