Virtual Speech Evaluator Oregon Assessment Specialist
We are hiring a Remote SLP to provide evaluations-only services to Oregon school districts. This 1099 role is focused on conducting high-quality virtual assessments and writing legally sound reports. Ideal for SLPs who prefer assessment over ongoing therapy.
Responsibilities:

Complete speech-language evaluations for initial and triennial reviews

Use online tools for standardized and informal assessments

Conduct interviews with parents, teachers, and students

Interpret data to support IEP eligibility decisions

Write comprehensive, compliant evaluation reports
-
Attend virtual MDT and eligibility meetings
-
Coordinate scheduling with school teams and families
-
Ensure all assessments align with Oregon state standards
-
Recommend supports based on findings
-
Provide follow-up consultation as needed
-
Track and manage evaluation caseload efficiently
-
Maintain confidentiality and ethical testing practices
-
Support equity in assessment practices
-
Follow IDEA and Section 504 procedures
-
Submit timely documentation and service logs

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
