A speech-language pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized care for K-12 students in a Tampa, FL school setting. This contract position spans the current school year and focuses on delivering high-quality evaluations and therapy to support speech and language development in school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Provide targeted therapy sessions aimed at meeting specific speech and language goals.
- Monitor and maintain detailed documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and healthcare professionals, to ensure cohesive care.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure by the state board of speech-language pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations highly desired.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Active state license approved by the state board is mandatory.
