A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year at an elementary school in Saint Paul, MN. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic educational setting, supporting students’ communication and language development.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments to identify students' needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
- Providing direct therapy and group sessions to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to individualized education programs (IEPs)
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in an educational setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota
Duration: Contract for the current school year
