School Speech Therapist | Saint Paul, Minnesota
Located in Minneapolis, MN, this full-time contracted position offers an opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-8 students during the 2025-2026 school year. The role encompasses approximately 30.5 hours per week within a dynamic K-12 school setting, focusing on delivering specialized speech and language services aligned with individual student needs.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), and collaborating with educators and families to enhance communication skills among students. The position targets early childhood through middle school age groups and emphasizes evidence-based interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Minnesota Department of Education SLP License is mandatory
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology highly desirable
- Experience working within school-based SLP roles in K-8 settings
- Strong ability to design and implement individualized speech-language therapy interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support multidisciplinary teams
