This opportunity is for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide maternity leave coverage in elementary school settings within the Saint Paul, MN area. Multiple contracts are available from mid-December through May, with options for on-site and virtual work based on caseload requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services aligned with established educational goals
- Implement individualized therapy plans for students in elementary schools
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress
- Track student performance and update documentation in compliance with state standards
- Adhere to caseload schedules ranging between 0.6 to 1.0 full-time equivalent positions, with partial virtual flexibility
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC preferred)
- Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota Education Certification for school-based practice
- Experience working within public school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Ability to manage caseloads with varying virtual and in-person components
- Candidates eligible to work in Minnesota and compliance with state work hour regulations for virtual placements
Contract Details:
- Duration varies by caseload: December 15 to March 23, January 5 to end of May, and January 28 to March 16
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Locations include elementary schools in Brooklyn Center, Coon Rapids, and Blaine, MN
- Both virtual and in-person assignments available; virtual candidates must not exceed 40 hours/week in MN
