Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students ages Pre-K through 12.
- Manage a caseload averaging approximately 60 students, adjusting services based on individual needs.
- Coordinate itinerant services across multiple school sites in accordance with schedule requirements.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress and communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state licensure and educational guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure required.
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently while providing quality care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with school teams.
- Flexibility to provide services across multiple locations.
Position Details:
- Location: Orange Park, FL
- Classification: Contract role for the current school year
- Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
- Start Date: Early January with placement through the end of May
