A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is needed to provide specialized support within a school setting in Warren, MI. This full-time contract opportunity involves working with a caseload of approximately 40 students, primarily supporting school-aged children with diverse communication needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Providing direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to IEP development.
Qualifications:
- Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position from Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:10 PM.
- Contract duration: Immediate start through March (covering maternity leave).
- Location: Warren, MI.
