Located in Middleburg, FL, this contract position seeks experienced Speech Language Pathologists to support students in a K-12 school environment. This full school-year engagement offers an excellent opportunity to work directly on-site, providing essential speech and language services to a diverse student population.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in Pre-K through 12th-grade students.
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Managing a caseload estimated at around 60 students, with potential itinerant duties across multiple school sites.
  • Maintaining detailed records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Participating in meetings and professional development as required.

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • Proven experience working with mild to moderate speech and language disorders in school-aged children.
  • Ability to plan and manage a varied caseload effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to student care.
  • Availability to work 35 hours weekly, typically 7 hours per day.

This on-site role starts January 5, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2026. Candidates should be prepared to work across multiple locations within the district to best serve student needs.
