Providing essential speech therapy services to a vibrant K-12 student population in St. Augustine, FL, this contract opportunity seeks licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support three school sites within the district. Positions are available on both a part-time and full-time basis, accommodating varying schedules and caseloads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students across elementary, middle, and high school settings.
  • Manage caseloads ranging from approximately 10 to 44 students, tailoring therapy plans to meet diverse communication needs.
  • Collaborate closely with school teams and an experienced SLP mentor specializing in middle and high school support.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and participate in team meetings.
  • Uphold compliance with all state licensure and educational guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Florida Department of Health SLP license is mandatory.
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 students preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and educators.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple locations.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered therapeutic interventions.

Location and Scheduling:

  • Positions are on-site at three schools: a newly opened high school ideal for candidates residing near Daytona, Palm Coast, or Palatka; a mature high school; and a K-8 academy.
  • Schedules vary by site and may be combined to accommodate full-time hours: • Pedro Menendez High School: 4 days/week, 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. • Nease High School: 3 days/week, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with flexibility for fewer days. • Patriot Oaks Academy (K-8): 1 day/week, 7.5 hours.
